Bio
Esra Merve Çalişkan is a dedicated scholar and researcher with a strong background in Political Science and International Relations. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Istanbul University, researching as a Visiting Scholar at Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Public Policy with a full scholarship. Esra's research focuses on the impact of cyberattacks in shaping cybersecurity policies, with a comparative analysis of the United States, China, Russia, and Turkey. Her investigation aims to understand the dynamics of international cyber norm-making and global Internet governance. Esra has contributed to esteemed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings on various subjects. As an experienced Research Assistant and educator, she actively contributes to the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul Medipol University.
